The Swedish eHealth Agency is an agency in development, where you will play an important role in developing our communication together with the unit manager and other colleagues.

About the position

As a communicator, you will work with communication across our various channels, our government assignments, and our websites. We are in an expansive phase and the need for communication is great. In this role, you will work closely with both our operational activities and colleagues in the communication unit. You will participate in various government assignments, work both strategically and operationally with texts, images, film, and social media, and participate in our web team to develop our websites.

The communication unit has employees in both Stockholm and Kalmar and currently consists of 12 employees and a unit manager. The unit is responsible for the internal and external communication of the agency. We work with strategic communication, web, press, social media, and graphic design. We are placed under the department that works with internal support to the agency.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in communication
• at least five years of experience in communication work within a government agency
• at least three years of experience in driving government assignments
• at least three years of experience working with and developing websites within CMS Optimizely (formerly EPI server)
• strong writing skills and the ability to work both strategically and operationally.

It is an advantage for the position if you have: 

• experience with issues related to health and medical care
• experience with digitalization issues
• experience with preparedness issues within a government agency.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The place of employment is Kalmar. The work may involve business trips, mainly between Kalmar and Stockholm.
